Reynolds Won’t Officiate Any Marriages as Mayor Until There’s Marriage Equality

One role of Mayors in a political party is to take symbolic positions on issues they can’t actually vote on at their level of government. These days probably most Democratic Mayors support marriage equality, but Willie Reynolds is taking it a step further by promising not to officiate any marriages until there’s full marriage equality.

Reynolds also criticized Bob Donchez for trying to hobble Bethlehem’s Human Relations Commission with overly broad religious exemptions:
