As if the police weren’t going to find out he got robbed by his drug dealer:
Ronald Angle Jr., 25, and Blake Stires, 24, met at 10:10 p.m. at the Chestnuthill Diner for a drug transaction, police said. Stires, of Eldred Township, took Angle’s money and left in a vehicle occupied by three woman and a man between the ages of 22 and 26, police said. Police labeled the four people as victims.
Angle fired two shots and pursued the vehicle, police said. Both vehicles pulled into the parking lot of the Lehighton barracks of the state police, the news release states.
Angle told police he had been robbed at knifepoint by unknown people, police said.
The ensusing investigation revealed Angle had been in touch with Stires throughout the day and that Angle’s report of the robbery was false, police said.
