More Good News for John Callahan

Bethlehem’s financial outlook has been upgraded by financial services company Standard & Poor’s, officials said tonight.

Bethlehem’s financial outlook has gone from stable to positive, Mayor John Callahan told city council tonight. If the city continues to improve its finances, the rating agency said it will likely boost the city’s bond rating, Callahan said.


  1. At the meeting Mayor Callahan said that since he took office the city has reduced its debt by $90 million. I don’t know what debt is remaining, but I was impressed.
