One of the more important issues facing Northampton County right now is making the assessment system fair and accurate. The County hasn’t reassessed in 18 years, but obviously much has changed about home values and especially land values in different neighborhoods during that time. McClure can barely get elected Commissioner, he has no chance at Executive.
Just saying that if Callahan wanted the frontrunner status he should have officially announced a while ago and raised a bunch of money. Shouldn’t be hard, he’s got all those donors from the Congressional race.
No he doesn’t. the unions are going to support Reibman not Callahan. Callahan is a wild card for them, Reibman is a slimy Democrat hack who will funnel even more of the taxpayer’s money in their direction.
