All you need to know about Tea Party governance in Lehigh County. The final proposal for the Bi-County Health Department isn’t even out yet, but GOP don’t care. They don’t want to know:
The two counties signed on to create a bi-county health department nearly five years ago, but its launch has been delayed by wavering support, impasses over membership on a health board and funding hurdles.
In January, a volunteer health board was asked to present a proposal on the department to the two county boards, but Lehigh County is slated to act before that final push. The ordinance is expected to be introduced at the commissioners’ Wednesday meeting.
Further down the page, we see Scott Ott rejecting the entire concept of public health. Good job voters!
